I sent money for Sumathipala's family. Both to his sister and the brother. It feels good.
I miss Sumathipala a lot. Thats the thing about me, to get this far in life, I had to remove all human elements and the sensitivity because the attachments were not helping me.
Capital One days were a waste of my life. Working in a call center when I have so much great experience at Fortune 500 and have earned so many world recognized degrees was so stupid. it's the place you live in, not yourself that's the problem. You live in a plaec like st. cloud, they are never going to value you and are goign to feel always insecure by you. When you move to New York, it's way different, specially for a foreigner.
New York changes my life drastically. It's been a bit more than a year since the move. I have paid off all my debt almost , saved up almost 20k in cash!!!! and doing well in my current job.
The ideal would have been to apply for jobs in all states just when I moved to St. Cloud and should have got a part time job while studying on campus. I was just sticking to what I was being told. Had no clue about immigration. What a journey it's been. Also it was a waste of time.
My uncles know nothing to be honest when it comes to life because they are from the academia. They don't know these little tips and tricks that help people get far in life faster. Nimesh for example lived in St. Cloud for years and boom! He moved to Silicon valley! The question is how. That's what people don't know about.
New York became a place I feel 100% comfortable in, very inclusive and vibrant.. Much like Colombo.
I feel home in New York
i want to buy a lovely staudio or a 1 br in Manhattan and decorate it and live there.
I am thinking baout kids as well. That's a big responsibility. Have to plan things well.
Unfortunately I don't see myself in MI but I can still try living there
I see living in MI brings additional complexities of dealing with that crazy mentally unstable woman, living in a farm and exposing my own kids to a farm life and a blue collar town. I want my kids to live in Manhattan, make very good connectiosn so that their life gets a lot easier etc.
The childhood is the easiest way to make connections with rich families and that happens through high school. They need to enter the rich and powerful social circle so that they don't ahve to suffer. For me the life was a lot easier because my father had connections and so was my mum
Why raise kids ina farm? Alonna is illterate.
Steve and I don't agree on mnay things an I see havoc actually. Have to work slowly and calmly and not fight. I would rather send kids to Sri Lanka than raising them in a farm in MI
Anyway I don't even have kids yet. First I want to make sure that I CAN HAVE a healthy pregnancy. I am so happy I didn't break up with Steve despite all what my friends and past friends were telling. THere is also a lot of jealousy. They see a nice guy taking care of me and they feel jeaoulous. WE HAVE been together for almost 6 years now. Why whould I break up.
